Engen Wire Rope Lubricant

Engen Wire Rope Lube is a bitumen based lubricant supplied to first application producers of wire ropes. It is manufactured from high quality VIRGIN based raw materials produced by Engen’s own Refinery in Durban.
The product is produced using a unique OXIDIZED grade of bitumen, resulting in a product that resists normal aging and oxidation processes, especially when product is heated and stored hot for lengthy periods before applied to wire ropes.
Other special materials used include high viscosity process oils and highly refined waxes. Blended together in a unique blend kettle using advanced mixing technology, the product forms an intricate lubricant which is consistent and supplied against a quality guaranteed specification. Engen Wire Rope Lube is used on ropes with short life expectations.
